The Key Lime Pie Recipe

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cups of sugar
  • One teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup of melted butter
  • Four egg yolks
  • Two egg whites
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup of key lime juice


  • Pour the crumbs into a bowl
  • Throw in small amount of sugar or a lot if at all it floats your boat
  • Add some butter. The concoction requires some salt also.
  • Melt it in a microwave
  • Now, drizzle the butter over the crumbs
  • Using a fork, stir the mixture for a short while. It should be moist, but better yet, still crumbly
  • Pour the crumb into your pie pan
  • Gently press the crumbs using your fingers to come up with a crust on the sides of the pan. Besides, do not expect the crumbs to stick together. The crust should crumble easily should you mess it so much
  • Now, bake the crust for almost 5 minutes in a 350-degree oven. It will toast it up result in the crust set
  • Get some limes
  • Zest some of them. You will require a heaping tablespoonful o zest
  • Should you not have a micro plane zester, kindly get one
  • Run the zester over the lime
  • Now, half as well as squeeze the puppies till you get ½ cup of juice
